The latest television star to get lured into Bollywood is Chetanya Adib, popular for his portrayal of the role of Anandi’s father in Balika Vadhu. He claims to have bagged a big role in a big banner film. He stars in Ram Gopal Varma’s new film Rakta Charitra.
A visibly excited Adib says, “After working in television for a few years, I have got a fair amount of recognition and fame. People know me by my name and the role I play in Balika Vadhu. So, I thought it was a good time to try my hand at bigger things.”
However, he clarifies that there is nothing wrong with Balika Vadhu or television. On the contrary, he is very happy with the show. “I am really proud to be a part of Balika Vadhu, which has changed the meaning of daily soaps on Indian television,” the actor explains.
Rakta Charitra is based on the real life incidents of the slain political leader Paritala Ravindra and Chetanya plays a rough and tough guy from Andhra Pradesh. So how did he get this break? “To be very honest, it just happened and I did not try too hard. One of the chief assistants of Ram Gopal Varma spotted me on television. He told Mr Varma about it and he called me for a meeting. I was nervous. He then narrated my role and asked me if I was interested. There were no audition or look tests. It was as simple as that,” he says, beaming.
However, it is just the beginning for Adib because only the first schedule has been completed. “I am yet to shoot with Viveik Oberoi (who is the lead). It’s been a good experience so far and I am looking forward to my next schedule.”

Bairi Piya Drama – Takhur Exposed in front of her wife Urmila
Bairi Piya‘s Digvijay Thakur (Sharad Kelkar) is finally going to be in trouble what with his wife, Urmila (Shubhi Mehta) coming to know the reality of her husband! She will even stumble upon Amoli’s (Supriya Kumari) truth.
Our source informs, “Radhe is going to be stuck in a political riot. Amoli will go to rescue her husband. Thakur decides to follow her. Amoli will be successful in saving Radhe this time. They will search a place to hide somewhere, and then they will enter a temple.”
Situations will become bitter for Thakur. “The couple will complete one phera of their marriage which they could not complete earlier. At this moment while Amoli and Radhe finish their last phera Thakur will reach the place. He will be furious to know that they have solemnized their wedding. He will drag Amoli to the haveli, Radhe will try to intervene but fails to stop the angry Thakur. As soon as he enters the haveli, Urmila will hear the entire conversation between Thakur and Amoli where he will try to threaten her and narrate all his past evil stories. That’s how Urmila will know that Thakur has not only exploited Amoli but also the other girls of the village. Urmila will receive a big blow hearing this and will decide to leave Thakur and the haveli forever.”
An actress from the show says, “Yes, we are shooting a major track where Thakur is about to get exposed in front of Urmila. And Amoli and Radhe will complete their long-pending marriage rituals.”
This episode is expected to air in a couple of days.

Madhav dies in Jeet Jayenge Hum on Sony TV
After Araina slipping into a coma with Sumo’s death in Pyaar Ka Bandhan Sony’s other show Jeet Jayenge Hum will also see a similar development. Madhav (Nawazuddin Sheikh) will die and his wife Damayanti (Nupur Alankar) will slip into a coma.
The story so far: Currently Madhav is in jail and his four children have escaped Suhangnagri with Prabhakar. Prabhakar got separated from them on the way and a few men tried to push Suman into the flesh trade. Their mother Damayanti is left behind and is being tortured by Yadav, the glass factory owner. Inspector Manas (Pawan Shankar) has stepped in as their saviour and he has been helping Suman and her siblings.
Soon Manas will bring in Suman and her siblings back to the village and will save them from Yadav. This is when they re-unite with their mother and start living with Manas at his house because Yadav has destroyed everything that belonged to their family.
A source informs, “Manas promises that he will talk to his superiors and see to it that their father Madhav is released. He goes to the jail and is then informed that Madhav died a long time back in police custody. Hearing this, Damayanti faints and slips into a coma.”
Nawazuddin says, “Yes, my character will be shown dead in the show but I don’t know how they are planning to shoot those scenes. I am currently not shooting for the show and have no idea about what’s happening.”

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai News Update
Akshara(Hina Khan) and Naitik’s (Karan Mehra) families are not ready to bury the hatchet as Akshara’s father Vishwambarnath had laid down a condition for the Singhanias that Akshara will only return if Naitik comes to take her back. We are talking of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Our source from the show says, “Akshara’s nani (Ruma Sengupta) is very orthodox and is not in the favour of a married girl staying at her parents’ house. She has just entered the show and come to know about the entire issue. Soon she will try to change Vishwambarnath’s mind. So there are chances she will be able to send Akshara back to her in-laws’ house.”
Lataa Seth who plays Akshara’s mother says, “Nani is very strict and we are very scared of her, we do not want to mess with her but since she has come to know the truth about Naitik and Akshara she is going to try and bring them together. However, we do not know whether she will be successful or not.”
Akshara’s comeback in the Singhania family will take at least two more weeks. The other soon to be developed track is going to be of Mohit (Ayush Agarwal) and Nandini (Nidhi Uttam). Bhabhi’s heart has started melting for Nandini. Now Mohit’s mother will take an initiative and will go to the Singhania house with a marriage proposal and there will be some drama then. On the other hand, Mohit knows that his mother is only interested in Nandini’s property, but his efforts of stopping her will go in vain.”
Nidhi informs, “Right now we are not shooting much as there was some tragedy in Sandeep Mehta’s (on screen father of Naitik) family. He is expected to start shoot in the next two days so may be after that Nandini and Mohit’s story will develop.”
In the meantime, Nani has appeared the second time since Akshara’s marriage in the show and she is expected to bring in many changes as she usually has the last word.
